Holiday Promotion Terms & Conditions

Fight Back Security Camera System Holiday Promotion. Effective from 30 August 2026 to 30 January 2027, or while the allocation of 50 holiday vouchers lasts.

1. Introduction and Corporate Identification

This promotion is managed and conducted entirely by Fight Back Security (referred to herein as “the Promoter”). All official business communications, invoicing, and service procurement relating to this offer are bound by the company’s verified corporate details:

  • Legal / Business Name: Fight Back Security

  • Australian Business Number (ABN): 78 593 791 304

  • Official Website: fightbacksecurity.com.au

2. Service Area and Eligible Participants

2.1 Designated Service Area

Our services and this promotion are available strictly to clients located within the local government areas of Brisbane City, Ipswich City, Logan City, and the Gold Coast City (referred to as the “Service Area”). The Promoter reserves the right to decline or add a delivery/travel surcharge for appointments or installations requested outside these designated areas.

2.2 Eligible Participants

This promotion is open to both Residential Customers and Commercial Customers who engage Fight Back Security for a qualifying security installation within the Service Area during the Promotional Period.

  • Residential Customers: Must be individual retail purchasers. To qualify for the holiday voucher, individual claimants must be aged 18 years or older at the time of the service agreement purchase.

  • Commercial Customers: Must be registered business entities. Commercial claimants must nominate a designated representative aged 18 years or older to claim and utilize the holiday voucher on behalf of the business.

3. Procurement, System Requirements, and Upgrades

3.1 Procurement Process

To successfully qualify for the holiday voucher, the system procurement must adhere strictly to the following consultation and purchasing process:

  • Professional Recommendation: The security system must be explicitly recommended by Fight Back Security technicians following an official site assessment or consultation to suit the client’s property.

  • Authorized Purchase: Fight Back Security will directly source, purchase, and supply the genuine NYX security camera system hardware on behalf of the customer. Equipment purchased independently by the customer through third-party retailers does not qualify under any circumstances.

3.2 Hardware Spend Threshold and Restrictions

  • Minimum Hardware Spend: The total cost of the qualifying Promoter-Approved Surveillance Hardware supplied and invoiced by Fight Back Security must be equal to or greater than $1,500.00 AUD, excluding GST. This threshold applies strictly to the physical hardware and explicitly excludes installation labour fees, cabling costs, permits, delivery charges, and ongoing monitoring fees.

  • Upgrades and Add-Ons Restriction: Standalone upgrades, replacements, repairs, or additional add-on components to a pre-existing, previously installed security system do not qualify under the promotion on their own.

  • Exception for Combined Purchases: Upgrades, extra components, or add-ons will only be considered qualifying hardware if they are purchased at the exact same time as a brand-new NYX system, where the entire combined hardware order meets or exceeds the $1,500.00 ex-GST threshold.

3.3 Existing Client Upgrades (Special 4-Camera Provisions)

This section applies only to current clients in good standing who purchase a new 4-camera surveillance system with a total invoice value exceeding $1,500 (excluding tax and optional recurring monitoring):

  • Previous Equipment: Upgrading does not void past service agreements unless stated in writing. The Promoter is not responsible for maintaining or supporting legacy hardware integrated into the new system unless explicitly quoted.

  • Data Transfer: Migration of old video archives or settings from a previous system is a non-standard service. It requires a separate fee and carries no guarantee of compatibility with the new hardware platform.

Warranty Terms: New cameras and recording devices carry standard manufacturer warranties starting from the installation date. Existing legacy components retain their original terms and are excluded from the new hardware warranty.

4. Claim Limits, Deadlines, and Job Completion

4.1 Claim Limits and Restrictions

To ensure fair distribution of the reward, strict location limits apply based on residential addresses and business registration details:

  • Residential Limit: There is a strict limit of one (1) holiday voucher per person residing at an address per calendar year. Multiple individuals living at the same physical residential address cannot claim separate vouchers within the same 12-month promotional cycle, regardless of the number of qualifying NYX systems installed at that property.

  • Commercial Limit: Registered business entities are limited to one (1) holiday voucher per registered business address per calendar year, regardless of the total dollar value or volume of qualifying NYX systems purchased and installed for that location.

4.2 Job Completion and Payment Conditions (Condition Precedent)

The holiday voucher is a reward for a completed, fully finalized transaction. No holiday voucher will be issued, reserved, or released to the customer until the following strict conditions are met in full:

  • Completion of Installation: The recommended NYX security camera system must be fully installed, tested, and commissioned at the customer’s specified address by authorized Fight Back Security technicians.

  • Paid in Full: The customer must settle their final invoice in full. The payment must clear into our nominated bank account with a zero balance remaining. Partial payments, deposits, or outstanding balances will delay or forfeit the release of the voucher.

  • Compliance Window: Installation must be completed and paid for within fourteen (14) days of the system delivery date, or before the designated close of the Promotional Period, whichever occurs first.

  • Verification Window: Residential claimants must provide a valid retail receipt, proof of residency, and age. Commercial claimants must provide a tax invoice matching their registered name and address alongside authorization from an owner or director.

  • Fulfillment Method: Upon complete satisfaction of all conditions above, the Promoter will generate and issue the unique digital voucher code to the customer’s registered email address within seven (7) business days.

4.3 Promotional Timeline and Pool Limits ("While Stocks Last")

  • Promotion Start Date: The promotion commences at 12:00 PM AEST on 30 January 2027.

  • Promotion End Date: The promotion will conclude at 23:59 AEST on 30 November 2026, OR strictly when the total pool of fifty (50) unique holiday vouchers has been fully allocated, whichever occurs first.

  • Availability Notice: The Promoter will display a "Promotion Closed" notice on our official website immediately once the final voucher has been claimed. It is the customer's responsibility to check availability prior to signing a service agreement.

  • Holiday Registration Deadline: Once a unique voucher code is emailed to the customer, it must be registered and activated online via the Global Vacation Reward Platform within thirty (30) days of issuance. Failure to activate the code within this 30-day window results in automatic expiration, and the voucher will not be reissued.

5. Cancellations, Refunds, and Reward Reversals

5. Cancellations, Refunds, and Reward Reversals
• Cancellation Prior to Installation: If the customer cancels the security system installation contract at any point prior to physical completion, their eligibility for the holiday voucher is instantly voided. No voucher will be generated or issued under any circumstances.
• Refunds Dropping Below the Threshold: If a customer requests a partial or full refund on their NYX security camera system hardware after the invoice has been paid, and it causes the total physical hardware spend to drop below the mandatory $1,500.00 AUD excluding GST threshold, the customer’s qualification for the promotion is completely nullified.
• Automatic Cancellation of Vacation Entitlement: If a qualifying purchase is reversed, refunded, or the contract is terminated after the unique digital voucher code has already been issued to the customer, the vacation entitlement is automatically cancelled and revoked.
• Voucher Deactivation and Financial Liability: The Promoter will immediately notify Global Vacation Reward to deactivate and blacklist the unique voucher code, making it void for travel bookings. If the customer has already successfully completed travel or locked in a non-refundable booking through the third-party portal, the cost value of the holiday reward will be treated as a debt owed to our business. The Promoter reserves the strict right to deduct the full retail cost of the holiday voucher from any hardware refund amount owed to the customer, or pursue the balance independently.

6. Third-Party Voucher Redemption and Terms

6. Third-Party Voucher Redemption and Terms
• Independent Provider: The holiday voucher reward is issued, fulfilled, and managed entirely by an independent third-party provider, Global Vacation Reward.
• Incorporation of Terms: By accepting the holiday voucher, the customer acknowledges that the redemption, booking process, travel window, accommodation availability, blackout dates, passport/visa parameters, and cancellation terms are subject strictly to the provider’s external policies. The customer agrees to be bound by the full Global Vacation Reward Terms & Conditions.
• No Cash Substitution: The holiday voucher is strictly non-refundable, non-transferable, and cannot be exchanged, substituted, or redeemed for cash, credit, or discounts against our installation services or hardware costs under any circumstances.
• Exclusion of All Travel Expenses: The holiday voucher covers complimentary luxury hotel accommodation room rates only. The promotion strictly excludes all other costs associated with the holiday. The customer is entirely responsible for arranging and paying for flights/airfares, airport transfers, local transit, meals, beverages, travel insurance, personal spending money, and any mandatory nightly booking fees, service fees, government taxes, or resort fees charged by the destination accommodation venue.
• Limitation of Liability: Fight Back Security accepts no liability or responsibility for voucher expiration, booking issues, destination changes, or any disputes arising between the customer and Global Vacation Reward.

7. Business Guarantees and Privacy

7. Core Business Guarantees and Privacy Protections
7.1 The Fulfillment Guarantee and Consumer Protections
• The Nature of the Guarantee: Fight Back Security guarantees that every single Residential or Commercial Customer who successfully satisfies all procurement, hardware spend, installation, and payment criteria outlined in Clauses 2.1 through 4.2 will be issued a unique digital holiday voucher. The reward is a contractually guaranteed entitlement and is not subject to a random draw, lottery, or selection panel.
• Operational Contingency Plan: In the highly unlikely event that administrative errors, technical failures, or stock discrepancies with the third-party provider prevent the instant delivery of an allocated voucher, Fight Back Security guarantees it will procure and deliver an equivalent valid holiday voucher or accommodation reward of equal or greater value within fourteen (14) business days of verification.
• Outside Scope of Guarantee: The guarantee applies strictly to the issuance of a valid accommodation voucher by Fight Back Security.
7.2 Privacy and Absolute Non-Marketing Guarantee
• Collection of Personal Information: Fight Back Security collects personal information strictly to verify promotional eligibility, complete the installation service, and issue the unique digital holiday voucher.
• Strict No-Marketing Guarantee: Fight Back Security guarantees that your personal information will never be used for marketing, promotional, or advertising purposes.
• Third-Party Data Sharing: The customer explicitly consents to Fight Back Security sharing their name and registered email address with Global Vacation Reward solely for the purpose of voucher registration and travel validation. Fight Back Security guarantees that customer banking details, security camera configurations, private property floor plans, or contact numbers will never be shared with any third party. All details are secured in strict accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

8. General Contract Conditions

8.1 Strict Non-Transferability
The offer, entitlement to the holiday reward, and issued unique digital voucher codes are completely non-transferable. Vouchers cannot be sold, auctioned, assigned, gifted, or passed to any individual or business other than the original qualifying residential client or the commercial entity's designated 18+ representative. Any attempt to transfer or trade a voucher instantly voids the code.

8.2 Prevention of Duplicate Claims
Each qualified transaction and physical installation address is tracked using internal serial logging. Duplicate claims are strictly prohibited. A single qualifying invoice or installation address cannot be used to submit multiple claims under different names, nor can an individual claim multiple rewards by listing separate business aliases for the same physical property.

8.3 Fraudulent or Ineligible Claims
Fight Back Security reserves the absolute right to audit all claims and disqualify any participant found to be gaming the promotion. If a claim involves falsified receipts, altered tax invoices, misrepresentation of age, invalid business registration details, or any form of deceptive behavior, the claim will be marked as fraudulent. The reward will be immediately denied, outstanding vouchers will be blacklisted, and the business reserves the right to pursue full recovery of travel costs or legal remedy.

8.4 Changes to the Promotion
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Fight Back Security reserves the right to suspend, cancel, terminate, extend, or modify the promotion, the voucher pool cap, or these terms and conditions at any time without prior individual notice. Such changes may occur if unforeseen circumstances, technical bugs, software fraud, third-party provider insolvency, or administrative issues compromise the security or proper administration of the offer. Any updates to the terms will be posted live to our official website and apply to all pending agreements immediately.

8.5 Applicable Australian Consumer Law
Nothing contained in these Terms & Conditions limits, excludes, modifies, or purports to limit, exclude, or modify any statutory consumer guarantees or implied warranties as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) or the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). These terms are governed strictly by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and all participants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the local courts.

8.6 Force Majeure
Fight Back Security will not be held liable or responsible for any delay or failure to perform its obligations under this promotion—including installation delays or failure to issue voucher codes—resulting from events beyond its reasonable control. This includes acts of God, severe weather, natural disasters, global supply chain disruptions, manufacturing shortages of surveillance hardware, strikes, telecommunication network failures, or government-imposed travel restrictions.

8.7 Independent Tax Advice
The Promoter accepts no responsibility or liability for any tax implications, including Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT), Goods and Services Tax (GST), or personal/corporate income tax liabilities, that may arise for Commercial or Residential Customers as a result of accepting or utilizing the holiday reward. Participants are solely responsible for seeking independent financial and tax advice regarding the reward.

8.8 Severability
If any provision or part-provision of these Terms & Conditions is or becomes invalid, illegal, or unenforceable under Australian Consumer Law, it shall be deemed modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid, legal, and enforceable. If such modification is not possible, the relevant provision or part-provision shall be deemed deleted. Any modification to or deletion of a provision under this clause shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the rest of these Terms & Conditions.
